Sneek Peak Sunday!!!

It's Here!! Sneak Peak Sunday!

My favorite day of the month. I have a reeeaaaallllyyyy hard time keeping secrets. So, I just love it when I can give out a secret as cool as this months kits.

The Scrapbook Memory kit for July features October Afternoon's County Fair. It's fun and easy to work with and of course summer inspired. Time to grab those photos that are waiting and get to work. This is the sample layout...
And of course the July "It's all in the Cards" samples. I named this kit "a tree for all seasons". It is great, you can manipulate your trees for whatever season you want and the rub-ons the go with it are just as great.

Sneak Peek Sunday??

What day is it? Okay, sooo... I'm either five days late or two days early. But since kits are due out on the 15th and that is Sunday - this probably should have been out on the 8th. And now since I have kept you waiting waaaayyyy too long here are the samples from this months kits.

First is the Scrapbook Memory Kit for June. I love this happy, summer coloured paper. It is the absolutely fabulous Cloud 9 Design's Sunrise Smoothie.

Two of the papers in this kit are embossed or glazed depending on how you feel about the terms. The other three papers are double sided, with a pattern on one and a co-ordinating colour on the other. Also included are chipboard shaped and cardstock stickers.

And for this months It's all in the Cards kit I choose to feature Imaginisce "Shore Thing". I fell in love with the line the moment I saw it. I think I may be a bit partial to the penguins. Included in the kit are three of the double sided papers, four of the fantastic stamps from the Shore Thing line and wonderful "Hula Envy" lace cardstock by KI Memories. These are the sample cards for this month.

Isn't she cute?

I modified this paper by adding summer themed words around some of the circles.

For those of you who are not kit club members yet the kits will be officially released on the webstore on Sunday. For a better look at the kits before assembly check out this page.

Plus you should check back during the week I will be showing off some of the door prize and giveaway items for the Celebrate Summer 2-day crop on June 20th and 21st. And there are tons of them. If you haven't registered for the crop yet, there are still spaces available, but not many. I do recommend that you pre-register. I would hate to have to ask you sit on the floor because there aren't any seats left.

I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek at this months kits. I'm going to go play with the card kit some more.

Tracey

PS. Have you made your Father's Day Card yet? Send me a picture to feature here on my blog and one lucky winner (randomly drawn, of course) will receive a collection of 10 different ribbons (1 yard of each).

Sneak Peek Sunday!

This has to be the absolute best day of the month....ever! Sneak Peak Sunday. Are you curious? Do you check my blog on the days leading up to it to see if I post early???? Well here you go, this months kit layout designs.

First up... The Scrapbook Memory Kit.

This month I have chosen to feature Kaiser Craft. This is an Australian

company fairly new to Canada. The featured line is Elegance. I love the aged heritage look of these papers. I have already planned out how I want to use these papers to do a layout about my Grandparents wedding. This is the sample layout I dreamed up for you all to use this month.

And this months card kit is just as much fun. I went with Scrapworks Florabella. It is a nice group of papers that turn into beautiful cards. I definitely plan to use up every last bit of this kit.

To see the monthly kits in their entirety go here, learn about the clubs here , or order your kits here. Remember if you want to order on-line and then pick up your order - just put local pick up in the comments section when you submit your cart.

I hope you have enjoyed this quick look at the kits for April.

Sneak Peak Sunday!

Well sort of.... I can give you a sneak peak for the Memory kit, but unfortunately I won't be able post the card kit sneak peak until tomorrow. You can chock it up to technical difficulties if you want.

Anyways here is the sample layout for the January Memory kit. I love the colours. There is just some thing about the strength and clean lines that black and white create. Plus add a strong accent colour and you have a sure winner. This kit is loaded with Bazzill cardstock (naturally!), black & white papers from Luxe and Doodle Bug, Maya Road chipboard, and great rub-ons from Carolees' Creations.
I have some cards to post for the card donation for BC Children's Hospital and Terraceview lodge. I should be able to get them up tomorrow or Tuesday for you all see. If you haven't sent or dropped yours off yet, what are you waiting for. Remember the perks of taking part in the campaign are great. $5 of Remember This! Memory kit or "It's all in the Cards" kits. Make a card and get a deal. It's too easy. Get more details here.
I'll be back tomorrow with more.

Sneak Peek Sunday

I know you have been waiting for the Sneak Peeks of this months kits. So here we go.....

This is the sample layout for the November Memory Kit. I can't wait to build more pages using this months kit.

And these are two of the cards I have created using this months "It's All in the Cards" Kit. They really are much nicer in person and for some reason the colours on the second one are a bit weird. I will try to fix that so you can see how great this kit really is.

I should be posting additional sample cards for this months kits later this week and if things go really well I'll get the photos for the card class up later this week too. Pop back often to see what I have been working on. And of course I would love to see what you have been working on and post it on my blog to share with everyone.

Happy creativity,

Tracey

Let's Pretend It's Sunday....

Okay I have to admit it Sneak Peek Sunday is a day late. I blame it on all the time spend with family yesterday and my inability to get creative until late last night. But here goes.. If you are curious about this months kits are are some of the designs I have created to so far with the kits.

This is the sample layout for Octobers Memory kit. This month I am featuring Daisy D's Autumn Collection. The colours are stronger and bolder than I normally seem to pick, but they are great to work with.
This layout didn't even make a tiny dent in the amount of product is this kit. And there is tons of room for smaller photos on the bottom of the left page or lots of space to journal if you have a long story to tell.

And these are two of the cards I have created so far with the "It's All in the Cards" Kit. This month I am featuring Imaginence Black Tie Optional. This is great double sided cardstock weight paper.

I love this first card. There are lots of layers and it appears much more complicated than it really is. And the colour combination is much more dramatic in real life.
The second card is a much more formal looking card. I took my inspiration from a the look of a suit jacket. Only this one has a more fun and feminine look to it. After all cards should be fashionable too.
Full kit images will be loaded to the website by the 14th. I can't give away all my secrets too early or you won't have a reason to come back and look again.
Check back again later this week to see some of the new products that are arriving for our busy scrapbook season.
