Happy New Year!!

To start off the year I have a new look for both the website and the blog. I would love to hear what you think of the changes.

I am also in the process of celebrating my fourth year in business. So to add to the celebration I am having a huge, and I mean huge, sale. Check out the store for all the amazing savings. You are sure to find a great collection scrapbook and cardmaking goodies to satisfy your "needs". I know we never really need more supplies, but we always want more and I have "more".

I have also make some scrapbook resolutions for 2009. I don't usually get on the resolution bandwagon, but these are good ones. So these are my top 5....

1) Organize my scrap space - this should be easy. My wonderful husband is building me a wonderful scrap space. Not a huge as I would have dreamed, but there should be plenty of storage and this should help me create more often.

2) Create one personal scrapbook layout per month. I know one layout per month isn't really that much, but I really do have to admit that since starting my business I really don't spend much time on my own layouts - I share all my good ideas with you.

3) Post to my blog more frequently. 2-3 times a month really isn't enough. I should be posting 2-3 times per week. I think I will ease into it and start with once a week and build from there.

4) Create a new and updated list of blogs that you should visit. All you will have to do is click on the links and you will find even more creative inspiration. I am going to have a great time creating a new list for you to check out.

5) The most important resolution... it to thank each and everyone of you for being part of my scrapbook world.

Take care and check out the anniversary sale. I know you won't be disappointed.

Belated Sneek Peek Sunday

So sneak peek Sunday is very late. In fact this week I should almost name it "just about didn't happen belated peek Saturday", since by the time most of you read this the kits will be out. But I hope you enjoy them anyways.

The memory kit for this month is one of Crate Papers new collections "Prudence". It's sort of mellow, sort of Bohemian, sort of heritage, but not really. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I knew it would make a great kit. And I just love the way this paper feels. It has great texture to it that is subtle, yet still noticeable. So this is the layout I created with it. As always the layouts aren't hugely difficult in nature - mostly because I only have so much space to tell you how to recreate in my directions and I am always worried that what I am trying to explain may not make sense in any ones mind but mine.
The card kit features My Mind's Eye Brilliant papers, but the really great part of the kit is the al a card adhesive transfers by We R Memory Keepers. They are sooooooo cool. This month you get to play with the foil, flocking and glitter. I should have put these in a kit so much sooner.
Check out these cards. To order either of these kits or any of the other great products you can visit my online store. I have tons of Christmas stamps, embellishments and papers being added to the store and of course other non-Christmas items that are just waiting to go home with you.
I am working on some very fun Christmas projects. If I am very good I may even get to post one or two of them by Sunday. Stay tuned I may be a creative miracle in the making.

Sneak Peak Sunday!!!

Well, sort of. More like Sneak Peak Monday! And happy thanksgiving to everyone.

So here goes. Let's take a look at this months kits.

Firstly, let's take a look at the October Scrapbook Memory Kit. This month is all about Scenic Route's Sonoma. I am also please to introduce you to Intricacies. These are custom cut cardstock. I had the number ones cut just for this kit. Intricacies are created by Monday Morning Memories, a division of Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs Inc. (MOSDinc). You can take a look at more Intricacies in the web store and the fabulous clear acrylic albums as well. The idea behind this layout is to take a family portrait and use the large mat for it and then use the smaller mats to give you head shots. You can't see it very well in my photo, but I used the Intricacies to show the date. I placed eyelets to show "8-09-12". This is the date of the family photo that I plan to use.
And here are the cards for this months "It's all in the Cards" kit. I am featuring BoBunny's Splendor collection papers.
This is the first sample card and a view of the inside.
This is the second card.
I hope you have enjoyed today's Sneak Peak Sunday. Remember kits can be purchased as a one time purchase or sign up for 3,6 or 12 months and save. So order yours today.

New Product Monday

Welcome to new product Monday. This week I am pleased to be able to bring you bulk ribbons. These ribbons will be sold in 2 yard (yes, I know I am in Canada and we use meters here, but manufacturers sell in yards) sets. Each ribbon carefully wrapped around a ribbon card and secured with a ribbon clip. The absolute best part they are only $2.29 each. BUT the really, really great part is that this week you can get them for 10% off so for a limited time they are only $2.09.

And since I am in such a giving mood I decided to put all my ribbon on sale. That means that all the prepackaged ribbons from BoBunny, Making Memories...... are on sale too. If you love ribbon the way I do now is the time to get your hands on some more.

New Product Mondays

Back with another great new product Monday.

The company I have chosen for this week is truly a fantastic little company on the rise. They are Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs Inc, otherwise affectionately known as MOSD Inc. I just received a new shipment of custom words books. Did you know that I can request just about any word you need for a one of a kind book. You just need to let me know what you need. Christy and Ali have worked very hard to create their name/word books and Clear Acrylic albums. Later in the year I will be featuring another one of their products, created by another member of the MOSD team - Suzy, in one of my monthly kits. It will be awesome.

Please take a look at their site and products. I have provided the link above and the ideas there will show you what you can do with the superb items I am featuring this week.

Check out this weeks new product features. And don't forget you will save 10% on these great products, but only until Saturday. Or sooner if they sell out during the week. Don't wait I would hate for you to be disappointed.

New Product Mondays

Okay I'm back from vacation and ready to get rolling into the prime scrapbook season. Unfortunately, Summer is ending and school is ready to begin, but come on this is the time of year where pages get done and we all try to catch up so that we can be ready for all the big holidays that are coming up, not too mention the photos from next Summer.

I'm really proud of myself.... I finally did some of my own scrapbooking. I finally finished 2006. I know most of you are up to date and waiting for the next event photos (Labour Day weekend and the 1st day of school). But it feels so good to be working on 2007, but I'm a little terrified of stack of pictures I just had printed. But I know that isn't why you are here today...... It' is New Product Monday.

Sooooo, I am featuring the new kits from 3 Bugs in a Rug.

Have you seen "Oh, what fun", "Playtime" and "Autumn"? No! You should check them out out.

And you can save 10% off of them here. Actually you can save 10% on all 3 Bugs in a Rug Caboodle kits for this entire week. Don't wait too long or they will be gone.

Check back next Monday for another "New Product Monday".

Last card... for now

So this is the last of the 21 cards created from the August kit. Doing some quick math if you paid $24 for this card and made the same 21 cards I did that would only work out to about $1.15 per card. Of course you do have to add in adhesive cost and your time, but still the value of the kit is amazing.

And there is probably enough material still remaining to complete at least 2 more cards. Or a collection of gift tags.

Enjoy the ideas here and check back on Monday for the next Sneak Peek Sunday.

Tracey

And here are more

A whole bunch more cards from the August kit

So in my little challenge to myself I have manged to complete 21 cards using the kit for August. So here they are. I'm not sure if I will continue to make more from this kit, but I do have more materials to continue if I can come up with more ideas. My creativity may be broken until the September kits arrive.I can only post 5 at a time so there will be multiple post today.

Sneak Peak Sunday!!!

So are you ready? I love sneak peak Sunday.

Let me start with this months Memory Scrapbook kit. Oh my! This paper is gorgeous. I went with SEI Poppy. This is luxurious paper. It is foiled and silver, and a metallic teal. Oh and it is double-sided. The second side it a flat paper. But the shiny side is bbeeaaaauuttttiiifuuulll. Check out this sample layout. t.

Oh yah! The card kit is pretty awesome too! I choose Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers and designed this kit to help you mass produce your Christmas cards. Every year I hear how we all have the best of intentions to create wonderful Christmas cards for friends and family and then run out of time. So I thought August should give us all plenty of time to get those cards done. So far I have made 4 cards and plan to sit down and do some more after I finish posting these sneak peaks for you.

Check back tomorrow for the New Product Monday feature and on Tuesday I plan to put up more of the cards I have made from this months card kit. You can order this months kits here on Sunday August 10th (early release for summer holidays).

New Product Mondays

New Product Monday

Another new product Monday. Curious about this weeks new product. This is the second week for new product Monday and it's great. I'll remind you that all the products discussed here today are featured at 10% off for the entire week, both on-line and in-store.

Let's talk about trimmers and flowers. Yup, that's right this week I'm featuring more than one product.

Firstly, fantastic two new trimmers from Tonic. The first one is the V-blade. This is the trimmer I use and I love it. Good straight cuts and easy to read measurement markings.

I also brought in the Tonic Super Trimmer with Push Blade and it looks awsome. It has two measurement swing arms. This is great for the left or right handed papercrafter.

I also thought I would introduce you to Kaiser Craft 2cm flowers. They are very cute, come in packs of 50 and have an even better price point - $2.10 per pack. Wow!

And as an added bonus I thought I would let last weeks New Product Monday run for 1 more week. So you get another chance to pick up Core'dinations cardstock at a savings of 10%. That's fantastic for a brand new release.
Hurry on over to the store and get your hands on these great new releases.

August kits will be released 5 days early. They will be ready to go on the 10th of August and shipping will commence on the 12th. And I thought I would give you a hint - think pearl and metallic finishes.
Enjoys this weeks new products.

And of course the July "It's all in the Cards" samples. I named this kit "a tree for all seasons". It is great, you can manipulate your trees for whatever season you want and the rub-ons the go with it are just as great.
