More ideas using the October "It's All in the Cards" kit....

I have had some requests for more ideas, in addition to the ones that come with the kit. So this is what I have come up with. I hope they inspire you to create.

And if you find the time please send me images of your layouts or cards I would love to feature them here on my blog. Think of it as a great chance to be famous and show your work to others.

Sharing some creativity.
I've been busy creating. I have finished designing my gift certificates for this holiday season. To see it you will have to talk a loved one into getting you a gift certificate for Christmas.

But I can share a Halloween card I did for a swap I took part in. The stamps are from CTMH. Yes, even though I owe a store I buy products from other companies too. Hey, I can't sell everything, but I digress. I used Bazzill cardstock, the stamp set, versamark and pearl-ex powders.
While I can't sell you the stamp set. I do have everything else I used for this card available through my store.
And as just a reminder I am still hoping to receive emails showcasing the monthly kits available through Remember This! Scrapbooking.
Don't be shy send me your posts.

I have a new challenge for you!

I have been thinking about this for a while. Every month so many of you pick up either Memory Kits or "It's all in the Cards" kits and I would love to see what you create. Actually I'm not the only one who would like to see, I have had other kit club members comment that they are curious to see what fellow club members are creating. Sooooo, if you have time and want to share your layouts or card creations please feel free to email them to me and I will post them here on my blog and in the gallery on my website.

Here are the rules for getting published.
  1. Scan or take a photo of your layout.
  2. Email it to me with the kit month in the subject line. (If you are not sure of the month I may be able to help you with that).
  3. Include any special techniques you used
  4. Check back to see if you are famous.
I will try to post at least 3 layouts a month showing of your work and creativity. Hey, if things go well I may even get to post 3 or more a week.

Start sending your layouts.

Let's Pretend It's Sunday....

Okay I have to admit it Sneak Peek Sunday is a day late. I blame it on all the time spend with family yesterday and my inability to get creative until late last night. But here goes.. If you are curious about this months kits are are some of the designs I have created to so far with the kits.

This is the sample layout for Octobers Memory kit. This month I am featuring Daisy D's Autumn Collection. The colours are stronger and bolder than I normally seem to pick, but they are great to work with.
This layout didn't even make a tiny dent in the amount of product is this kit. And there is tons of room for smaller photos on the bottom of the left page or lots of space to journal if you have a long story to tell.

And these are two of the cards I have created so far with the "It's All in the Cards" Kit. This month I am featuring Imaginence Black Tie Optional. This is great double sided cardstock weight paper.

I love this first card. There are lots of layers and it appears much more complicated than it really is. And the colour combination is much more dramatic in real life.
The second card is a much more formal looking card. I took my inspiration from a the look of a suit jacket. Only this one has a more fun and feminine look to it. After all cards should be fashionable too.
Full kit images will be loaded to the website by the 14th. I can't give away all my secrets too early or you won't have a reason to come back and look again.
Check back again later this week to see some of the new products that are arriving for our busy scrapbook season.
