I'm in love......
with an adhesive!

I have to admit I don't get excited about adhesive very often. After all glue is glue, right? Wrong!

Okay, so I have sold Wacky Tacky Tape for a while and hadn't really used it. So the other night I was making up a ton of cards and wanted a good narrow adhesive. So I grabbed a roll and tried it out. WOW!!!

You know how sometimes textured papers don't hold very well or you are working on a project that you need narrow, straight adhesive. It's great. Unfortunately you can't remove it with Un-du and it is a serious stick, so you had better be sure where you want stuff. But I really like it.

And since we are talking adhesives I thought I would give you my top 5 favorites.

1) Xyron tape runner
2) Xyron X150
3) Wacky Tacky Tape
4) Glue dots (regular and mini)
5) Glue lines

These may be my 5 favorites, but I still use Pioneer photo mounts all the time too. Mostly because I can get a little crazy with the runner and use way more adhesive than I really need. Yup, I'm one of those crazy people use a runner to cover an entire back of a project. So the mounts are my way to control my consumption.

Tell me about your favorite adhesives and why? I look foward to hearing your opinions.

Yup, it's been almost a month again.

But I haven't been goofing off completely. I have been planning and creating. In the past four weeks I have booked my crop space and dates for the rest of the year. I have booked the Skeena Valley Golf and Country Club, sorry no web addy for you to check out, but it is truly beautiful there. When you have "scrappers block" the view will inspire you or give you a beautiful backdrop for daydreaming.

I also in the midst of planning out classes for the rest of the year. I am going to be sooooo incredibly busy. I love it. Card classes, altered items, new techniques and product demonstrations. Stay tuned for more pics to show off my creative endeavors. The one here is an altered paint can using items for my July Memory Kit Club kit. Some of you may recognize the papers. They are Fancy Pants Frou-Frou. Talk about cute papers. This was a fun project. I hope to share a class with everyone this fall.

And a quick update on my new insulin pump. I'm in love. Well, to be honest it did border on hate for the first day or two. I needed time to adjust to all the new bells and whistles. I think this thing has the power to run a small country single-handedly. But I have noticed a change and an improvement on my life already. It is absolutely amazing what a few year can do for technology. If you're diabetic you have to check these babies out. But if you decide to pursue pump therapy you had better put your work boots on because there is a lot to learn and adjust.

Again I promise to try and post more frequently. I may even have some new projects to show off.
